FOR WANT OF A BETTER

For Want of a Better is a collective of artists who work with sound, text, image and movement. Interested by in-situ performance, their work takes various forms:  theatre, concerts, readings, improvisations and performances.

Based in Normandy, France, their work has been produced in France, Norway, Macedonia, Russia and Ukraine.

FOR WANT OF A BETTER has received the support for production and/or research projects of the Regional Council of Normandy, The DRAC and l'Institut Français. In 2019 and 2020, FOR WANT OF A BETTER is supported by the Théâtre du Champ Exquis, Scène Conventionnée d'Intérêt Nationale, art enfance jeunesse.
